Tout ce que vous devez savoir

Questions courantes sur les visas, l'enregistrement de mariage, les procédures d'immigration et les formalités administratives au Laos, répondues clairement et complètement.

The Visa LA-B2 Entreprise is the standard long-stay visa for foreigners in Laos, available for 1 year or 6 months. It includes a Work Permit and Stay Permit. JTN can sponsor you through its own registered Lao company, so you do not need to create a business. The full process takes approximately 25 to 27 working days: JTN prepares an invitation letter (Step 1: 5 to 7 days), you exit and re-enter Laos at a border point (Step 2), then JTN registers your visa, work permit, and stay permit (Step 3: approx. 20 days). Pricing starts from $250 for 6 months and $500 for 1 an avec sponsoring JTN. Contact JTN to verify eligibility for your nationality.
In Laos, the Work Permit is included in the LA-B2 Business Visa package and cannot be obtained separately. To qualify, you need: a valid passport, passport photos, and a registered sponsor company (either JTN's company or your own employer with valid enterprise registration and tax/quota documents). After your border re-entry, JTN registers your visa, work permit, and stay permit together in approximately 20 working days. Full payment is required before processing begins.
The Visa LA-B2 Entreprise is your legal authorization to stay in Laos. The Work Permit authorizes you to work for a specific registered company. In Laos, both documents come bundled in the LA-B2 package: JTN registers the visa stamp, work permit, and stay permit simultaneously in one process. Key distinction: the SP-B3 Spouse Visa and IN-B2 Investor Visa include a Stay Permit but do not include a Work Permit.
Renewal is simpler than the initial application. Only Step 3 is required, meaning no border exit is needed. JTN registers the renewal directly. Cost: $450 for 1 year (saving $50 vs first-time) or $220 for 6 months (saving $30). Full payment is due before processing starts. Prices may increase as import quotas become harder to obtain. JTN notifies existing clients in advance of any price changes.
Yes. JTN can act as your sponsor company through its own registered Vientiane-based entity. You do not need to create your own business. Pricing: $500 per year or $250 for 6 months. If you already have a registered company in Laos, JTN can process through your entity instead: $430 per year or $230 for 6 months. Note: LA-B2 sponsorship is not available for nationals from certain countries. Contact JTN to verify eligibility for your nationality.
JTN manages the complete legal marriage registration process between a foreign national and a Lao citizen. The procedure includes two mandatory in-person interviews (Provincial Police Station and Department of Foreigner Control) and takes 6 months to 1 year from the date all documents are received. Pricing starts from $2,200 for Vientiane (capitale), varying by province. You receive an official Lao Marriage Certificate, required to obtain the SP-B3 Spouse Visa, and which can support your Permanent Residency application.
After receiving your official Lao Marriage Certificate, JTN applies for your Visa SP-B3 Conjoint. JTN prepares an invitation letter (5 to 7 working days), you exit and re-enter Laos at a border point, then JTN registers your visa and stay permit (approx. 14 working days). Cost: $350 for 1 year, $230 for 6 months. Renewal: $300 per year or $200 for 6 months. Available in all 17 provinces. Key point: the SP-B3 allows legal residence with your Lao spouse. It does NOT include a work permit.
The Carte de Résident Permanent allows you to live in Laos indefinitely. No more visa fees, border runs, or annual renewals. You can also register a vehicle in your name and open a small individual business. Eligibility: married to a Lao citizen for 2 or more years, OR worked legally in Laos for 8 to 10 years. Cost: $6,500 (same price for all provinces). Duration: 1 to 2 years (typically 18 months). Two mandatory in-person interviews are required, and you must maintain a valid visa throughout the application process.
Requirements vary by service. Common documents include: valid passport and copies, 18 passport-size photos (3x4 cm, white background), proof of income or bank statement, and police clearance from your home country (requiring authentication, apostille, legalization, and Lao embassy verification). Marriage registration also requires a marital status certificate and residency certificate. Permanent residency requires a birth certificate and an approval letter from the Lao embassy in your home country. JTN provides complete checklists and document templates for every service.
The Casier Judiciaire No. 3 is issued by the Lao Department of Justice and confirms you have no criminal record in Laos. It is required for marriage registration, permanent residency applications, visa submissions, and embassy procedures. JTN processes it in 4 working days. You need a proof of residence from your Village Chief (Nai Ban). Cost: $50 in Vientiane (capitale), $55 to $70 in other provinces, price on request elsewhere. Full payment is required before processing starts.
JTN offers two distinct services. (1) Certified Legal Translation: your documents (police records, marriage certificates, official letters, court documents) are professionally translated and stamped with an official certification seal, making them legally recognized for Lao administrative procedures. (2) Document Legalization: JTN submits your original documents to the Ministry of Justice and then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), obtaining both official authentication stamps required by foreign embassies. Send originals to JTN via Mixay Express, Phakhao Market branch. Prices on request.
JTN provides end-to-end immigration and administrative support for foreigners in Laos: LA-B2 Business Visa (visa stamp + work permit + stay permit), SP-B3 Spouse Visa (visa stamp + stay permit), IN-B2 Investor Visa (visa stamp + stay permit), Permanent Residency (ID card + family book), marriage registration, Casier Judiciaire No. 3, certified translations, and document legalization (Ministère de la Justice + MOFA). A Business Package (company registration + employee quotas + investor visa) is available on request. JTN operates 7 days a week with a commitment to respond within 48 hours.
